1. Moon Called (2006)
Moon Called is the first book in the Mercy Thompson series. As you can understand from the name of the series, the main character’s name is Mercy Thompson. She is a shapeshifter who can transform into a coyote. Besides, she is a car mechanic. The story begins when a young boy named Mac comes to Mercy Thompson’s garage to look for a job. Due to Mac’s runaway situation, Mercy helps him and lets him work. However, Mac is a newly changed werewolf and Marcy is not an Alpha and thought she couldn’t help him. Because Mac has an adaptation process as a newly changed werewolf. Mercy seeks help from her neighbor, Adam Hauptman. Adam is the alpha of the local werewolf pack. However, the good-heartedness of our main character, Mercy, causes many unexpected problems.
2. Blood Bound (2007)
In the second book of the Mercy Thompson series, our hero Mercy owes her vampire friend Stefan Uccello a favor. So, what could Stefan want from Mercy? There is a new vampire in town named Cory Littleton. Stefan doesn’t want to meet this vampire alone because Cory is no ordinary vampire and has a demon inside him. Stefan is not sure if the vampire is controlling the demon and tells Mercy to turn into coyote form and accompany Stefan. The favor she owes Stefan will get her in trouble.
3. Iron Kissed (2008)
The first two books in the Mercy Thompson series deal with the world of werewolves and vampires. Iron kissed takes us deep into the world of fae. As you may remember from the second book of the series, Blood Bound, there was a vampire named Cory with a demon inside. Mercy had borrowed a powerful knife from her former boss, Zee who was also a fae in order to deal with Cory. However, this time Mercy owes a fae a favor. Some murders have shaken the fae community and Zee needs Mercy to find the killer.
4. Bone Crossed (2009)
Mercy is still in trouble in this fourth book in the Mercy Thompson series. Mercy is accused of betraying the queen for killing a vampire in the clan of the local vampire queen Marsilia. The best thing about this series is that the unfortunate consequences of the actions in the previous books can come to the surface. Mercy being targeted by a powerful vampire is one of these situations.
5. Silver Borne (2010)
Silver Borne, the fifth book of the series, goes deep into the fae world. Mercy, who is always trying to protect and help her friends, is not getting out of trouble. Mercy has a book she borrowed from the fae. The fae queen wants the book back. Mercy wanted to return the book, but she couldn’t find it, and she needs to find it as soon as possible before it falls into the wrong hands.
6. River Marked (2011)
River Marked, the sixth book in the Mercy Thompson series, doesn’t deal with werewolves, fairies, and vampires like the other books in the series. The romantic character of this series, Mercy and Adam, get married with a beautiful wedding. They leave the Tri-Cities for a romantic love and honeymoon. Of course, their dream honeymoon won’t last long because wherever Mercy is, there is a trouble.
7. Frost Burned (2013)
The seventh book in the Mercy Thompson series begins with Mercy having a panic attack that leads to a car accident. Mercy goes shopping with her stepdaughter Jesse and has a panic attack while driving. After Mercy and Adam got married, Mercy became Jesse’s stepmother, and she thought this panic attack was due to Jesse asking her when she was going to have a baby with Adam. But that wasn’t the reason for this panic attack. Mercy’s alpha werewolf husband and nearly the entire pack of her husband had been abducted. Mercy didn’t have a panic attack; she just felt this kidnapping. And Mercy finds herself trying to find her husband and protect her stepdaughter.
8. Night Broken (2014)
Night Broken, the eighth book in the Mercy Thompson series, begins with Adam’s ex-wife Christy returning to ask for help. Christy is in trouble and can’t stay on her own. That’s why she moves into the house of her ex-husband Adam, Mercy and daughter Jessie. Mercy has always been a well-meaning character and she couldn’t ignore it, no matter how difficult it was to live with her husband’s ex-wife. Of course, Adam’s ex-wife Christy brought problems. It’s like getting her ex-husband back.
9. Fire Touched (2016)
Fire Touch, the ninth book in the Mercy Thompson series, begins with Mercy and Adam receiving a phone call from the local police. They receive the news that there is a troll in the Cable Bridge and many people have lost their lives. Adam and Mercy are asked to help stop this unstoppable troll. Mercy, Adam, and his werewolf pack to go the Cable Bridge in order to solve the problem and a war begins. And help comes to from a human boy who was kidnapped by fae long ago. He is a “fire touched” and has magical control over fire.
10. Silence Fallen (2017)
Silence Fallen is the tenth book in the Mercy Thompson series, and while the main character Mercy is returning home from the market, a truck crushes into her car and the story begins. Mercy, who is unconscious after the accident, wakes up and finds herself kidnapped as the guest of Bonarata, the leader of the European vampires. By the way, Bonarata is the ex-boyfriend of Marsilia, the queen of vampires in the Tri-Cities. Mercy takes the form of a coyote and escapes from her kidnapper. After she escapes, she realizes that she is not in the Tri-Cities. She finds herself alone and penniless in Italy.
11. Storm Cursed (2019)
Storm Cursed is the eleventh book in the Maria Thompson series. The other books in the series were mostly about the world of vampires, werewolves, and fae, but now witches are included in the game. Are you ready for a journey full of dark magic? Black magic witches move into the territory of the werewolf pack. Adam, Mercy, and Adam’s pack try to drive them out of their territory.
12. Smoke Bitten (2020)
Smoke Bitten is the twelfth book in the Mercy Thompson series. Mercy returns to her old home and realizes in her backyard that Underhill has opened a door to the fae world. Centuries ago, when fairies left their homes, they left behind their prisoners, treasures, castles, and animals. In this novella, you will meet the main characters, Anna and Charles. The story begins with a young human that Anna sees in a cage at the sociopathic alpha headquarters. Anna worries about the young human’s life and wants help from Marrok who is the leader of the werewolves in rural Montana. After Anna asks for help, Marrok’s son Charles goes to the city in order to help Anna with the case. Anna and Charles fall in love with each other as Charles solves the problem in the Chicago pack.
1. Cry Wolf (2008)
Cry Wolf is the first book in the Alpha and Omega series. This book usually focuses on the relationship between Anna and Charles. Anna is afraid to approach Charles because she has been abused in the past. That’s why although Anna seems weak, she is not. As you read the book, you witness that Anna has grown and what a strong character she is. Another focus of the book is a lone wolf killed in a mountain forest a short distance from the pack. Therefore, Anna and Charles suspect that another pack of wolves may exist, and they begin their investigation. And when they go to the mountain forest, they encounter more than a lone wolf.
2. Hunting Ground (2009)
The second book in the Alpha and Omega series, Hunting Ground, begins with Charles and his father Bran falling into conflict. Bran gets the wrong idea and wants to make the werewolves’ existence known to everyone. But before that, he wants to meet all the alpha and their seconds in Europe. Charles had some abilities inherited from his mother. That’s why Charles had some magical abilities. Thanks to these magical abilities, Charles intuitively felt something bad. If his father attends this meeting, very bad things can happen. Anna and Charles join forces to go after the real killer and they must find the killer.
3. Fair Game (2012)
In Fair Game, the third book in the Alpha and Omega series, you can see that the relations between Anna and Charles have been established in a stable way. The story begins with Anna and Charles being sent to Boston in order to find a serial killer, among them werewolves. And it turns out that this killer was targeting supernatural people. The killer had already noticed Anna and Charles.
4. Dead Heat (2015)
Dead Heat, the fourth book in the Alpha and Omega series, begins with Charles’ old friend Joseph. Charles wants to buy a horse for Anna from his friend Joseph. But years passed and Joseph was old and very ill. When Anna and Charles visit Joseph, they realize that a wandering Fae is responsible for the abduction and death of hundreds of children. Fae’s war with humans is about the begin, and Anna and Charles are caught in the middle of the war.
5. Burn Bright (2018)
Burn Bright, the fifth book in the series offers a great story to its reader. Charles Cornick and Anna Latham face a serious threat. Bran is out of town and appoints his son, Charles, in charge of his pack. Charles calls his father but cannot reach him. Charles and Anna have no idea what happened. However, there is a great danger waiting for them.
Some dangerous werewolves living in the Marrok region were banished away from Aspen Creek, Montana because they could not live safely among their own kind. This incoming call worries Charles and he and Anna go to the mountainous and wild nature where the exiled werewolves live.
6. Wild Sign (2021)
Wild Sign, the sixth book in the series, begins with the disappearance of the inhabitants of a small town in the mountains of northern California. Charles and Anna are assigned to investigate because supernatural events may occur in the area.
